Trophy Hunter Charters from the Port of BURNS WATERWAY, Portage, Indiana, is your best way to catch Coho, Chinook Salmon, Lake Trout, Brown Trout and Steelhead Trout. Captain Elmer Tuthill and Captain Scott Tuthill, are both USCG Licensed Captains. The Trophy Hunter is a State Inspected Vessel with USCG Safety Equipment.

CORPORATE CHARTERS AVAILABLE - For your corporate executive or your customer, Trophy Hunter can accommodate you. Trophy Hunter is a 1992 31-foot Baha Cruiser sport Fisherman with a fly bridge fully equipped with a standup head and wide 12 ft. beam for your safety and comfort.

For your convenience, we can provide sandwiches, beverages and snacks at a nominal charge. For larger groups, multiple charters are available depending on date and time.

The Captain makes all decisions as to weather conditions and safety precautions. If a charter is terminated early due to bad weather, you will only be charged for the time away from dock.

If bad weather prevents fishing we will reschedule charter. If not possible to reschedule, we will refund deposit.

Half Day Charters are 5 hours. Times are: 6 AM to 11 AM, 7 AM to 12 Noon, 1 PM to 6 PM, or 2 PM to 7 PM

Full Day Charters are 8 hours. The times are arranged to suit your time schedule and convenience.

Half Day 5 hours - 4 people - $300 5 people or more $65/person

Full Day 8 Hours - 4 persons - $ 360.00 5 persons - $425.00 6 persons - $480.00

After work Special 4 persons - $200.00 5 persons - $225.00 6 persons - $255.00 - call for details, certain fishing conditions apply.

WHAT TO BRING - Appropriate clothing for weather, tennis or boat shoes (soft white soled shoes), food and beverages, sunglasses, camera and film, cooler to take your fish home

DIRECTIONS - Trophy Hunter Charters is easy to get to off of I94, Portage Exit 19. At the light turn left (N) and go 1/2 mile to Nealon St. (2^nd street on right side). Turn right onto Nealon and immediately turn left onto the parking lot. Trophy Hunter sign on corner.
